I throw caution to the wind as the sails of my misfortune take to the seas and chart the ship that is my body across the harsh yet tranquil waters of the ocean. With such feverish motion I smash the ships against the sea-foam-towering-waves; white walls of pure envy that drench and drown me in their livelihood as I too drift off into the great expansion of territory a mere morsel of what I once was.

I look for Poseidon to guide me but find his comfort long gone. Like Odysseus I too must seek redemption in the trials and tribulations set forth to me by Gods and Goddesses; voyage ten-long-years to find my cunning; transverse the open sea and hope with vigor to find the place I may call home. Though my suffering is of my own device—my own egoism—which finds me here against the backdrop of nature’s most harsh frontier. By foolish pride I cast myself asunder seeking retribution where none can be find.

I wonder why Poseidon turns a blind eye.
